It is getting closer and closer for this family to meet their new member . . . a baby girl! She will be joining such a special, loving family. I can not wait to meet her very soon!

I think that big brother is pretty excited too . . .

Just a few more weeks until this couple gets to meet their new baby boy! The grandparents-to-be got to join them at the maternity shoot which was very special.  You could just tell how excited everyone is for their first baby/grandchild.

I can not wait to meet who was inside this gorgeous belly!

I feel so lucky to have all of these beautiful Mommies-to-be in my studio. I know how special this time in their lives is and I feel very strongly that it should be documented. I am always thrilled when a Mommy-to-be comes in top the studio with an open mind and trusts me create beautiful images for them.

All the elements on this day made for a perfect maternity shoot . . . we had gorgeous lighting, awesome location, nice weather and beautiful fall colors. I always like to customize my shoots to the individual and since she had told me she loves architecture and the outdoors, I thought this spot would be a perfect fit.

She told me this was her “Trinity” jacket and I think she looks just like Trinity from The Matrix here. Love this image . . . strong and empowering.

There are so many gorgeous images from this session, but some images you just know it is going to be breathtaking as soon the shutter clicks . . . and this is one of them. The peaceful look on her face along with the way the light perfectly hits her belly made it instantly one of my favorites.

Last weekend I had the pleasure to meet the little guy that was hiding in that belly. Can not wait to share some of those images soon. Congrats again to you Megan and Shawn!

I was so excited to hear that this little guy had made his appearance (albeit a late one). You may remember this beautiful couple from their maternity session:

Nolan arrived in the studio at 11 days old and was so strong. He was able to push his way out of almost every position and hold his head up . . . I was impressed! Little guy made me work for it, but we ended up with some beautiful images. I know this new family of three will enjoy their life as new parents. Congrats again!
