Storm will forever have my heart! I mean, how perfect is his name?! Storm’s owner reached out to me wanting pet portraits before the unthinkable happened to him. At (almost) 13 years old, Storm sure knew how to work his angles. The way the light caught his eyes was magical and even the gray in his whiskers lent wisdom and contrast to his final images. The vision was a black-on-black, moody look and I think we hit the nail on the head.

Storm would do anything for his favorite thing…cheese! Storm’s owner came well-equipped with several packages of string cheese. Even for an old pup like himself, Storm knew exactly what he was about to be rewarded with when he heard that wrapper peel back! It was the cutest thing to watch him get excited for his special treat!

After we captured Storm on the dark backdrop, I offered a lighter background for a more contrasty option. Both backdrop options have a very different feel, but he made anything look good. Keep on making everyone smile, Storm!

I am a firm believer in pets being just as much a part of your family as your human family is. I am so glad that this client reached out to me when she did and now gets to enjoy these images of her best friend. I have a feeling she will cherish these images for many years to come.
