11 day old Elliot came into the studio with big brother Sam by his side. We started with family portraits and then moved right into sibling shots so Sam’s job could happen while he was still fresh and excited about pictures. Taking photos with your brother can be a little tricky when you’re 18 months old, but Sam was so sweet with Elliot. He would point to Elliot’s nose and give him kisses and cuddles. The image below says it all! These two will be best buds!

Elliot weighed a healthy 9lb 6oz at birth, which meant fitting into this prop took a little finagling, but we did it! Big brother, Sam used this same prop for his newborn session! How special is that?!

Elliot experienced most of his newborn session behind closed eyes. But this didn’t stop him from giving us several adorable, sleepy smiles. When he finally opened his eyes, it was the perfect time! The blue fabric backdrop really made those sweet baby blues “pop!”

The precious smiles didn’t stop at his close-ups! I had to showcase this smiley boy during the family portrait portion of his newborn session with both of his parents’ arms wrapped around him.
