Kellinger Maternity and Baby Karley | Frederick, MD Newborn Photographer
When the Kellinger family reached out to me for another maternity session, I knew we had to take advantage of all the Fall colors outdoors! Because Karleyβs arrival was so close to Christmas, Mom thought the idea of a Christmas-themed newborn session sounded perfect!
o'brien family session | frederick, md family photographer
Iβm so glad the Obrien family chose to update their family images at this beautiful location. We even snuck in a couple of images of just Mom and Dad together! And the lighting was *chefs kiss*!
Maternity and Baby Nina | {New Market, MD Newborn Photographer}
I always like to include macro shots of your bundle of joy during their newborn session. The shots focus on the little details you ogle over in the first few weeks of their life, but are some of the first we forget! My favorite is the wrinkles in the bottom of their feet, but their adorable little nose, beautiful lips, and dainty lashes are not to be passed up.
Baby Baylor | Frederick, MD Newborn Photographer
These first two images posted below sum up Baylorβs newborn session pretty accurately. Awake and alert! Have no fear, the sleepy dust did make its way into the studio after some extra snuggles (no complaints about that here!) and some milk from Mom. Iβm not sure what I love more though, newborn lovey snuggles, or a beautiful candid moment between mom and her youngest son.
Elliot | {Frederick, MD Newborn Photographer}
11 day old Elliot came into the studio with big brother Sam by his side. Taking photos with your brother can be a little tricky when youβre 18 months old, but Sam was so sweet with Elliot. He would point to Elliotβs nose and give him kisses and cuddles. Elliot experienced most of his newborn session behind closed eyes. But this didnβt stop him from giving us several adorable sleepy smiles.
Studio Renovations | {New Market, Maryland Photographer}
This rough barn space was transformed into a finished photography studio in 2018. Previously a woodworking shed, it underwent a complete renovation (including running water and central air) and eventually became my dream photography studio in New Market, MD.
Tellulah | {Ellicott City, MD Newborn Photographer}
Sweet Tellulah arrived at JNP studio at nine days old with her proud siblings and doting parents. Tellulah, nicknamed Lulah (how adorable is that?!), had us βaww-ingβ throughout her entire session.
Alina Turns One | {Frederick, MD Cake Smash Photographer}
Iβm convinced that if anyone looked up the word βpersonalityβ in the dictionairy, Alinaβs picture would be the definition! This one year/ cake smash session was so dreamy in so many ways. One of my favorite things about Alinaβs one year session was how much she LOVED music. She took a total of one bite of her cake and danced the rest of the time!
9 day old Diego | {Frederick, MD Newborn Photographer}
Before I get into detail about this Newborn session, can we just take a moment for this hair?! Diego was a picture perfect model when he came into the studio at just 9 days old.
14 day old Justin | {Monrovia, MD Newborn Photographer}
14 day old Justin (and his full head of hair) came into the studio with big brother ready for their close ups.
13 day old Harper | {Baltimore, MD Newborn Photographer}
Meet the most cooperative children in the world. Avery was the proudest big sister and was so happy to comply with all of my requests. I love this first sister image so much that I actually have it hanging in my studio. Smiles all around!
Newborn Luke: An Early Surprise
Working with newborns requires a bit of flexibility before, during, and even after the photoshoot. Take little Luke, for example. When he decided to come 3 weeks earlyβmuch to Mom and Dadβs delightβwe quickly moved things around to welcome him at the JNP Studio. He surprised everyone at 37 weeks, but fortunately, made his debut as a healthy, happy newborn!
