jnp offers newborn sessions exclusively in our lavish new market studio.

Newborn photography requires patience, talent, and experience. These sessions are where I started my photography journey 14 years ago and where my passion still lies today. Nothing is more special than capturing a new life and some of those first snuggles with a new Mom and Dad!

The opportunity to capture these first weeks of life come and go so quickly. We understand the importance of this first shoot and promise that you, your baby, and your family are in excellent hands.

The recipe for success with newborns is in the details. We have found that by controlling the elements such as temperature and lighting, we have the most content babies. I offer a wide selection of special props that help your newborn feel comfortable and look adorable! 

We have arranged the studio to be a serene environment so you can sit back, unwind, and enjoy as we work with your little one. We have beverages, snacks, Netflix, and a couch for snoozing . . . what more does a new parent need? Many parents tell us after our session that it was the most uninterrupted time they’ve had recently. Other parents love to watch the whole session and ooh and aah over how cute their baby is. Whichever makes you comfortable, we are here for you!

personalized session

Each session is personalized through a variety of settings, color options, outfits, accessories, backdrops, and more.

The studio has a selection of props we can use during your session, so you don't have to worry about bringing anything. However, you can provide custom colors, themes, or outfits, which we can discuss during our initial planning conversation. 

booking a Session

Newborn sessions should ideally be booked during your pregnancy, but if your baby is already here, feel free to contact us, and we will do our best to get you in. The session typically occurs within the first 7-14 days of your child’s life, though I am also experienced in working with older newborns.  

Depending on the baby's needs, the session will last anywhere from 1.5 to 2.5 hours and can include immediate family and siblings. This is about the baby; we’ll take as much time as necessary!

Session fee includes JNP time and talent. All image and product purchases are a la carte and made on the day of your reveal and ordering session(s).
