Most photographers will tell you that a 2 year photoshoot is probably one of the most difficult and sometimes even feared shoot. At this age they are naturally unpredictable, temperamental, and most of all weary of strangers. However, after photographing many 2 year olds I like to think I have a pretty good handle of the song and dance we play to get those shots (which the majority of the time includes me making a fool of myself). For me, as soon as they are comfortable with you they begin to engage and play . . . and hey, a watermelon or a favorite food sure helps too! With all that said, I am very lucky to know this little man . . . he is my very best friends son and I love him to pieces. He was my first newborn I ever had the opportunity to shoot and I can not believe he is turning 2! Happy Birthday Cole!
