It was a beautiful evening in a gorgeous location with new JNP clients. I wasn’t sure this night could get much better…and then it did. It usually takes one person acting silly to pull genuine, authentic smiles out of each other! For that very reason, I love the image in the middle below.

One of my favorite things is seeing how proud older siblings are of their new title! You can see older brothers' and sisters’ excitement when it’s their turn to have a special job with their new best friend.

This was a unique session because this newborn client was on the older side of my “newborn sessions.” This family contacted me because they wanted a newborn session for their three-month-old son. I typically photograph newborns in their first two weeks of life, but I have successfully photographed older newborns many times before.

When this family came into the studio to map out Nina’s upcoming session, she gave me the sweetest smiles and was so content! For baby membership babies, I always use the same prop at each of their milestone sessions. This puts their growth into a teary-eyed perspective.

As stunning as black-and-white images of Iyari are, I had to give this dress its moment! Yvonne always brings special, meaningful, and traditional outfits for Iyari to wear during their family session. Their family session happened to take place right around Yvonne and Iyari's birthdays, so we had to have a little celebration—champagne for Mom and cupcakes for her daughter!

The Eras Tour, JNP edition, was quite a hit. We knew we wanted to incorporate as many eras as the studio space would allow. When I host mini-sessions, having promotional images to show potential (and existing) clients plays a pivotal role in the booking process. You want to see what you're getting yourself into, and I want to provide the most accurate representation of that mini-session results. That said, who better to be promo models than a couple of Swiftie moms and their Taylor Swift-loving daughters?!

It just so happened that their family was bringing home a new puppy the day before we had planned this family session. What better way to celebrate a new furry family member than with a family session?

Everything is better with a little bit of glitter!! Glitter and Twinkle light minis are one of my most popular mini-sessions. One of the reasons why glitter sessions are such a hit is because they are interactive. Glitter and twinkle light mini sessions are great for siblings as well! Double the mess, double the fun, am I right?

There is no lack of confidence or personality regarding Ms. Simone! Whenever the Watts family books a family session, I know their gallery will be filled with beautiful, exciting, and unique images of their little girl. One of the many things I love about this family’s sessions is that they ALWAYS recreate the same image yearly!

I like to offer clients several set-up options for Christmas mini-sessions: one that is more traditionally “Christmas-y,” one that is holiday-neutral, and the ever-popular bed set-up.

The beauty of Personality mini-sessions is that there is no posing. If your child wants to dance, we turn the music louder! If your child wants to lie down, go for it! If they want to stick out their tongue, I won’t be the one to stop them! Letting your kiddo be authentically themselves and letting their true personality shine, made for some beautiful and unique images.

11 day old Elliot came into the studio with big brother Sam by his side. Taking photos with your brother can be a little tricky when you’re 18 months old, but Sam was so sweet with Elliot. He would point to Elliot’s nose and give him kisses and cuddles. Elliot experienced most of his newborn session behind closed eyes. But this didn’t stop him from giving us several adorable sleepy smiles.
