This 7 lb. 8 oz. bundle of love came into the studio with his proud family. Big sister Anika took her role very seriously and was so sweet with her little brother. Anika gave her new baby brother, Aarish, the sweetest kisses and snuggles. I always strive to personalize the session to what is most important to you. This family wanted a little of everything regarding the family portrait portion of their newborn session, so we made sure to do just that!

Aarish entered the world two weeks early, just like his big sister! This may explain why, even at 13 days old, he was a very sleepy little dude. We did get a few open-eye shots toward the end of his newborn session, but then it was right back to sleep for this growing guy. It’s tough work being a baby.

Everyone has a favorite newborn detail they just can’t get enough of. A popular one, for example, is that familiar yet fleeting newborn smell. Some of my all-time favorite newborn baby details are their perfect pouty lips and those adorable feet wrinkles. Capturing these details helps you remember just how little they once were many years from now.
