Happy Holiday Mini Sessions!

In case you missed the fun and excitement of Holiday Mini Sessions at the JNP Studio, I wanted to share a few of my favorites from last year.  Thank you to everyone who came out this past December to capture those holiday-card-worthy photos!  We had an amazing time reconnecting with previous clients and meeting new ones.

For the past four years, we’ve celebrated this holiday tradition at the JNP Studio.  With a lot of preparation—not to mention luck—it’s a day filled with smiles, laughter, craziness, and cookies.  Although it seems to grow a little bit every year, these Holiday Mini Sessions went surprisingly smoothly!  We had a few minor temper tantrums (as you may have seen on our Facebook).  But at the end of the day, each family received a few cheerful portraits to share during the holiday season.

Many of these families were familiar faces at Jessica Neumann Photography.  It was great seeing how much they had grown from previous newborn photoshoots, family portraits, sibling sessions, etc.  Although we had to make room for some new siblings, we never complain about these adorable additions!

If I’m being honest, my favorite part of this entire process happens in the days/weeks following our Holiday Mini Sessions.  As we get closer to Christmas, I’m often the lucky recipient of many holiday cards from the same clients I helped to photograph!  Not only do these happy faces bring back memories of our fun (if hectic) day together.  But also, I get to very literally bring my work home.  During the holidays, you’ll often see a collection of these cards proudly displayed in my house.
