There is no lack of confidence or personality regarding Ms. Simone! Whenever the Watts family books a family session, I know their gallery will be filled with beautiful, exciting, and unique images of their little girl. I love the blue hues in these studio images.

It was a chilly day in downtown New Market, but braving the cold was oh-so-worth it. With little breaks in between shots to warm back up, the outdoor portion of this family session was done in no time. Keeping this family of three huddled together was a two-birds-with-one-stone situation. Snuggling in close to stay warm also allowed for perfectly cozy images. That’s a win in my book!

As the sun set, the lighting was perfect for a few solo images of Simone. We had to wait for the ideal timing to show off that sparkly dress of hers. I can’t believe how much Simone has grown since I first started photographing her. This purple dress brought back memories of her One Year/ Cake smash session. When I tell you this girl was born to be in front of the camera, I mean it, and you can see the evidence here. (Peep the very first “chase” shot in the family portrait portion of her one-year session)

One of the many things I love about this family’s sessions is that they ALWAYS recreate the same image yearly! An action shot of dad chasing his little girl in an open field is 100% necessary, and I’m honored to be the one to capture this memorable moment each year for them. Side-by-sides of these “chasing” images throughout the years will be something this family can look back on and cherish. The bond between father and daughter is evident through these images!
