At just 9 days old, this beauty arrived at the studio with her doting parents and proud big sister. I could snuggle this 9lb 13oz bundle of joy all day. One of my favorite things is seeing how proud older siblings are of their new title! The image in the middle is a classic JNP pose I attempt with all newborns and their siblings. You can see older brothers' and sisters’ excitement when it’s their turn to have the special job of “holding” their new best friend.

A vision in purple, don’t you think? Little sister’s newborn session had similar vibes to big sis’. Beautiful earth tones with pops of color was the name of the game. Soft, cuddly blankets and hats were in, but wool bears were out!

Cue the blooper reel! If you’ve been around here for a while, you know that I aim to get at least a few open-eye shots at every newborn session. Little Miss did not disappoint! She sure gave us a laugh with her funny expressions and looks of disgust. I know she didn’t mean anything by those salty looks, though. Soon after some awake time, it was back to lala land for the remainder of Iris’s newborn session.
