Zoe | {Frederick, MD High School Senior Photographer}
Zoe is a fun senior to work with; she is always up for anything! Having Zoe’s session a little bit later in the year allowed for the incorporation of Zoe’s future University into her Senior session!
Treat yourself! | {Frederick, MD Photographer}
“Treat yourself” was the motto for this session! Kristyn runs a business, is a wife, a mom, and an inspiration! She came to me with a vision, and together we brought that vision to life! Kristyn wanted to celebrate her 40th birthday in style, and we did just that!
Iyari | {Frederick, MD Child Photographer}
Iyari came into the studio to be photographed in celebration of turning 2! You can see how special the bond between mother and daughter is in these photos. The image below is one of my favorites from Iyari’s session. The way the light catches her eyes as she’s looking up reminds me of why I started photographing in the first place.
Mateo Turns One | {Frederick, MD Cake Smash Photographer}
I have been photographing the Grimaldo family since big sister, Paola, turned one! But this time it was little brother Mateo’s turn to be in front of my camera! He loved splashing in the water and playing with the little rubber ducky that I provide for bath time. His curious little head tilts and his adorable smile made everyones hearts melt!
Alina Turns One | {Frederick, MD Cake Smash Photographer}
I’m convinced that if anyone looked up the word “personality” in the dictionairy, Alina’s picture would be the definition! This one year/ cake smash session was so dreamy in so many ways. One of my favorite things about Alina’s one year session was how much she LOVED music. She took a total of one bite of her cake and danced the rest of the time!
9 day old Diego | {Frederick, MD Newborn Photographer}
Before I get into detail about this Newborn session, can we just take a moment for this hair?! Diego was a picture perfect model when he came into the studio at just 9 days old.
14 day old Justin | {Monrovia, MD Newborn Photographer}
14 day old Justin (and his full head of hair) came into the studio with big brother ready for their close ups.
13 day old Harper | {Baltimore, MD Newborn Photographer}
Meet the most cooperative children in the world. Avery was the proudest big sister and was so happy to comply with all of my requests. I love this first sister image so much that I actually have it hanging in my studio. Smiles all around!
Samantha turns ONE | {Baltimore, MD 1st Birthday Photographer}
We then brought it inside to capture some images before getting too messy in with the cake smash. The basket in the top picture is the same basket we put her in for her newborn photos. I always love doing this because you can really see how much they have grown and changed over the past year.
Hanna's One Year Donut Celebration {Frederick, MD 1st Birthday Photographer}
Celebrating little Hanna on her 1st birthday was so fun! She was full of smiles and silly faces. We did 2 outfits before her “Donut Smash” and a bubble bath after to clean up. This is quite typical of how my one-year sessions flow. I love the variety it gives and it keeps the babies interested!
Newborn Luke: An Early Surprise
Working with newborns requires a bit of flexibility before, during, and even after the photoshoot. Take little Luke, for example. When he decided to come 3 weeks early—much to Mom and Dad’s delight—we quickly moved things around to welcome him at the JNP Studio. He surprised everyone at 37 weeks, but fortunately, made his debut as a healthy, happy newborn!
Three Generations at the JNP Studio
While most of the newborn sessions at the JNP Studio feature Mom and Dad in some way, the Doudt family brought a surprise when they came to see me last April. Baby Audrey, at 13 days old, was accompanied by her older brother, Wyatt, her parents, and even her grandmother! Before the day was over, we were able to capture these really special images with three generations of women in this family.
